We mourn the passing of veteran journalist Murray Nicholl who died at his own home this Sunday morning.

Murray was our friend in the fight to save the River and with film shot from his trusty helicopter brought the images of the devastation being wrought by the regulator at Clayton Bay and Currency Creek to a wider public.
He worked at the Adelaide News, 5DN, 891 ABC Adelaide, FiveAA and Channel 7 Adelaide. He was honoured with a Walkley Award for his reporting of the 1983 Ash Wednesday fires as they ravaged his house and he was powerless to save it but kept reporting.
We will miss him, his integrity, wit and intelligence.
